Walking in Dadirri Group
Monthly group walks offer a space to receive the healing energy of the land through connection with it, as inspired by the Ngangiwumirr people's practice of Dadirri.
Dadirri, a Ngangiwumirr practice, is explained by by Dr. Miriam-Rose, as a contemplative practice of listening deeply to the sounds, stirrings and whisperings of the land. Where one is in stillness to listen, observe, smell, feel and connect the land.
“ Close your eyes and feel Country breathing with you.” Dr Miriam Rose.
